Digital Innovation Challenge Case Competition (DICC) hosted by the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary

This annual event brings together students from diverse disciplines, including business, engineering, computer science, and data analytics to tackle a real-world problem and compete for cash prizes. Last year’s competition welcomed teams from universities across Canada and beyond, offering students a unique opportunity to showcase their skills, connect with peers and industry professionals, and gain hands-on experience in digital innovation.

We’re excited to continue expanding participation this year and would love for your students to join us.

Here’s what you need to know:
• Registration Fee – $40 per team
• Deadline to register – Monday, October 5, 2026
• Preliminary Round (Virtual) – Saturday, November 7, 2026
• Finals (in-person, in Calgary) – March 11-13, 2027
• Teams of 4 – students can register in a team of four or individually and we’ll match you up with a team
