Co-founder and Co-CEO of 16 Bit
About the speaker:
Dr. Mark Cicero is a fellowship trained Diagnostic Radiologist, Integrated Engineer and the Co-founder and Co-CEO of 16 Bit, a Canadian based company which develops machine learning algorithms for health care. Prior to completing his medical residency at the University of Toronto, Dr. Cicero completed his engineering and medical degrees concurrently in a combined six years from Western University and McMaster University respectively. During his final years of residency, Dr. Cicero co-founded 16 Bit with the mission of using novel AI techniques to improve health care globally. 16 Bit now has two Health Canada approved products, Rho and Physis. It is seeking to commercialize Rho globally over the next few years while continuing to develop new and innovative products leveraging recent advances in generative AI. Dr. Cicero is also an active member of the Canadian Association of Radiologist AI working group.
